South Shore Furniture City Life Collection TV Stands Reviews - We would have liked a brand new stand for our new 42" TV. We regarded in all places!! Walmart, Sears, Kmart, Amazon, etc. After we discovered something we preferred in our worth range, the delivery prices have been outrageous! $50 - $80, and that wasn't at all times even house delivery, Walmart's Web site to Store too. Properly, my husband isn't very patient with placing issues together. However this wasn't unhealthy at all. Took about an hour or so. And it appears to be like great!! Not low-cost taking a look at all. Very low profile. We're very pleased with our purchase and would suggest this to anybody!
This can be a very good piece, indeed. It was simple to assemble, and may be very sturdy. I have a 55" Aquos on top of it, with a dvd, satellite box, Yamaha Surround receiver and Xbox on the shelves. There may be plenty of room for DVD's, CD's and even accessories, books or whatever within the 2 glass door ends. it does not have in the slightest degree of "give" or shake, and the best half-- it appears high quality! I want there have been other pieces that match, as this could be a nice "theme" for all the furnishings within the room.
I have seen many lesser quality, much less engaging units for much more $$$.
I bought this TV stand in June 2009 and to date it has been a hundred % satisfying.
Pros:
- Holds my fifty four" Plasma TV with no stress even thought advert says it is for 36" and 40" TVs.
- Very contemporaryish.
- Delivery and Price
- Meeting (Took an hour or so on my own)
- Attracts dust and perhaps seen depending on lighting and if you get close sufficient to the stand. With frequent dusting, should not be a problem.
- Can't hold electronic elements on both side with the doorways closed on account of overheating.
- Legs are plastic and never metal as I believed it could be. My Verdict: Excellent buy so far as I'm concerned. Highly advocate it!
